What we collect.

Very little, and only what you type into a form. This page describes this website. Each venue runs its own site and its own reservation system, with its own policy.

Analytics, and nothing else

This site uses Google Analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages they read: page views, the pages visited, the general region a visit comes from, and the kind of device used. We use it to make the site better, not to build profiles, and we do not run advertising pixels or sell or share this data. You can opt out with Google's own browser add-on attools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and most content blockers stop it too; the site works identically either way.

Beyond that one tool there are no third-party scripts of any kind. Fonts, images and maps all load from this site's own server, and the content security policy this site ships with makes that a technical guarantee rather than a promise: anything else added later would be blocked by the browser rather than run quietly.

What a form collects

When you send the contact, private events or careers form, we store what you typed: your name, email address, phone number if you gave one, and your message, along with the other fields on that particular form. We also store the date and time.

We store one thing you did not type: a short, one-way hash of your IP address. It cannot be turned back into an address. It exists so the form can tell that fifty submissions in a minute came from one place, which is how the site stops itself being used to send spam. The address itself is never written down.

What we do with it

  • Read it, and reply to you.
  • Pass it to the venue concerned, if your note is about one of them.
  • Keep it long enough to finish that conversation.

We do not sell it, share it with anyone outside the group, or add you to a mailing list because you sent an inquiry. There is no mailing list on this site.

Where it is held

In a database operated by Cloudflare on our behalf, and in the email inbox of whoever needs to answer you. The notification email is sent through our own mail service; the message is not passed through any marketing platform.

Having it removed

Write to [email protected] and ask. We will delete what we hold about you and confirm that we have, unless we are required to keep something, an employment record, for example. You can also ask for a copy of what we hold.

Links away from here

Every venue link on this site opens that venue's own website. Those sites are run separately, may use reservation platforms such as OpenTable, and have their own privacy terms. This policy stops at the edge of this domain.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will say so on this page rather than quietly amend it. Questions to [email protected].
